Success Stories

This past June, 2012, our 5th Flight of students will be graduated from high school.  We congratulate them on their accomplishment and wish them well in their future endeavors.  

This Spring, 2013, El Viento will induct our 13th group of fifth graders into the program.

During the 2011-12 school year, our students had the following successes:

Flights 12 through 9 (Grades 5 to 8):

  • Flight 9 - Avg GPA 3.24
  • Flight 10 - Avg GPA 3.27
  • Flight 11 - Avg GPA 3.40
  • Flight 12 - Avg GPA 3.58 

Flight 5 through 8 (Our High School Students):

  • Seniors - Avg GPA 3.35
  • Juniors - Avg GPA 3.13
  • Sophomores - Avg GPA 3.37
  • Freshmen - Avg GPA 3.30 
 
100% of our high school graduates attend at least 2 years of college!!!!
