The ten-year period from fourth grade through two years of college costs about $10,000 per student to complete. A $10,000 contribution covers the following activities for each child for those years: - S.T.E.M.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Program - After School Tutoring
Academic counseling and tutoring provided by a certified teacher - Year-Round Recreational Programs
Monthly enrichment field trips to places like the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center - Summer Camp
Summer program consisting of swimming, sailing, ocean-related activities and camping trips - College Students
Counseling and advice on managing the transition into college life and beyond A contribution of at least $1,000/yr for 10 years provides you with recognition as a member of our "Captain's Club." - One student for one year: $1,000
- One student for the entire ten-year program: $10,000
- One class for one year: $25,000
- One class for the whole program: $250,000
Our newest way to give is to join our Captain's Club. This is a way for our contributors to make a multi-year commitment that will provide support for El Viento students over the entire 10-year duration of our program. Gift plans create opportunities for both El Viento and our contributors. Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift. There are many options from which you can choose. The correct plan for you balances what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family, and your charitable interests in your overall estate and financial plans. One of our goals is to continue seeking in-kind contributions for a variety of needs within our program, which include: - Printed T-shirts for students and staff
- Low or no-cost activities for our students during the school year and our summer program
- General office supplies
- Auction items for our Fall Golf Classic
